Florida Baptist Children's Homes
For over 112 years, the FBCH remains passionate about helping one more child! In 2015, we had the privilege of providing 155,384 services to children and families domestically and internationally. This is not done alone. Lives were changed through the help of supporters, volunteers, businesses, and the community as a whole.
Volunteer Coordinator Helper Overview
The primary responsibility of this volunteer position is to work in the Piper Children’s Center helping the Volunteer Coordinator with in processing, recording, and appreciating FBCH volunteers. This includes data entry, updating Excel spreadsheets, assisting with greeting cards, and may include helping with the planning and organization of events such as Christmas Open House. Those who assist the Volunteer Coordinator will be scheduled on weekdays between 8:30AM-4:30PM.

From the opening of our first orphanage in 1904 to our present-day ministries that have expanded to provide safe, stable, Christian homes and services to children and families in need across the state and around the globe, we are honored to be helping children in tangible ways. Whether it’s providing clean diapers to a newborn baby, food for a hungry child, safety for an abused child, or foster or adoptive homes to children in crisis, we work to share with children who have been abused, neglected and abandoned the protective and healing love of Jesus.
