The Sacred Heart Center is a non-profit community center serving the Hispanic community. Our mission is to create a hub for Richmond’s Latino community that opens opportunities for economic and social integration, family success, and community leadership.

We are looking for volunteers with at least an pre-intermediate level of Spanish to help in the computer lab during our English classes in the morning. English language learners come in as a class for 1/2 an hour at a time to use websites like USA Learns, Newsela and others that the teachers want to use to better the language skills of their students. Some of the tasks will be giving the students access to laptop & headset; helping students register and log in to websites, creating email accounts, helping with any problems that occur with the computers and making sure everything is locked away. The computer lab assistant should be able to speak English & Spanish.
