About

Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) provides affordable housing and services for low-income people in the Tenderloin and throughout San Francisco, to promote equitable access to opportunity and resources. Please check us out at www.tndc.org.

TNDC's Health and Wellness Program is searching for dedicated volunteers to help on a weekly basis at their new open to the community pantry site. In partnership with the SF-Marin Food Bank, TNDC is looking to make an impact in the Western Addition neighborhood by offering access to free, nutritious food to those residents who live in supportive housing.

Volunteers are needed on Monday mornings starting starting at 10am. Food from the SF-Marin Food Bank will be dropped off at our distribution center located at 1239 Turk St. The volunteers are needed to distribute food, assist with line management, and clean up.

Volunteers are encourage to commit to a time period of 3 months or longer to help build rapport with the staff and the residents of the Tenderloin.

If you are interested in volunteering with TNDC, SF Marin Food Bank and the new Open to the Community Food Pantry, please contact Kamillah Gallofin at kgallofin@tndc.org or via phone at (415)358-3979.

**Start date for first pantry distribution is April 3rd.**
