RENEW Family Literacy at Plymouth is expanding our outreach by sponsoring refugee families. This is a great opportunity to do meaningful work. Refugee families need help with task such as reading the mail or making doctors' appointments for their kids. This is perfect for those looking to help but need a flexible schedule. You make the hours, can bring your family, and decide your limits. Simply being a friend and providing social interaction can go a long way.

RENEW Family Literacy seeks to build literacy among refugees In Des Moines. Here at Plymouth UCC we focus on small group or 1 on 1 teaching. We use nationally accredited material during class instruction. Our mission is to strengthen the community while improving the lives of our refugee population.
