Many volunteers are needed to help build a new playground for use by the children living at the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter. We have cleared away old equipment and are ready for Phase 2

As of now we have scheduled 2 work dates:

Wednesday, February 22 - we need 10 people able to do heavy lifting. We will be moving 6x6 timbers into place, and securing them. Any volunteers must be at least 18 for this part of the project

Thursday, March 9 - we need 5 volunteers able to dig large holes and help pour concrete from a wheelbarrow to serve as footers for the new equipment.

Both projects will begin at 9:00 AM and will continue until finished.

Later dates will include assembly of equipment, installing a playground surface, and shoveling a lot of much into the playground area. We will update this information when we have additional dates.

If you are able to volunteer on either February 22 or on March 9, please contact us at your earliest convenience. Volunteers will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
