Are you a natural leader? Do you want to give back to the community while strengthening your resume? Are you ready to take your volunteering to the next level but don't know where to start? Look no further, we are introducing the TWIF Lead training.

What It Is:

During this sixth month program, you'll learn the basics of volunteer management, problem solving, working professionally with non-profits, story telling for a cause, and how to engage the community so people keep coming back!

And it isn't all just reading, we send you out monthly to apply what you've learned at a volunteer event of your choice and to test your talking points at some of our social recruitment events. Along the way, you'll have the full support of our Volunteer Engagement team and staff. At the end, you will be certified to lead TWIF events, get a shiny certificate for your LinkedIn, and have all the knowledge we've learned over years of leading successful events to teach you how to be an awesome leader in all situations.

Are you ready to take your volunteering to the next level?

TWIF covers the cost of the TWIF Lead Training Program but classes are limited in size and candidates must officially apply. Please mention the starting date you are most interested in and why you want to be a TWIF Lead in your cover letter.

Classes start every quarter in January, April, July and October.

What We Need:

This training/position requires a commitment of 8-10 hours per month for six months. We offer a lot of flexibility in when and how you complete those hours and the online learning portion can be done remotely, working online, at a time that is convenient for you. This position does require mandatory attendance at a monthly training usually held the 1st Tuesday evening of the month and attendance at one volunteer event per month.
