WeShelter is seeking volunteers to connect with Californians and New Yorkers, sharing a new way to help the homeless. We need your efforts to get the word out.

Millions of homeless individuals, families, and children aren't getting the support they need.

So many people without a secure home get left behind by fast-paced society. Street homeless are ignored by 99% of the people who walk by them.

You can change that.

WeShelter is an app people use when they think of homelessness or see someone who might be homeless. When you use the app, you raise money to shelter people in need. You can also send anonymous location data, which we use to get help where it's needed most.

Most important of all: With WeShelter, everyone can make a difference. WeShelter gives you the power to do something positive and connect in the tiniest way with someone in need.

We think this simple act of noticing someone, taking action and feeling empowered to make a change, can help heal communities and give voice to the voiceless.

Even if you're running late, or don't feel safe engaging someone on the street, or are worried where the money might go, you can tap our app and unlock sponsorship funds to fight homelessness: on a grassroots level, in your community.

Our sponsors are companies who care about their communities, they front the cash so that all we ask from our members is a caring heart.

Our partners are carefully-vetted, housing-first direct-aid nonprofits dedicated to getting people into safe homes and supporting folks in need.

San Francisco needs your help. New York City needs us. Most of the homeless in these cities are locals who have been displaced by multiple factors: broken homes, illness or disability, gentrification and skyrocketing rent. Many are families and children. San Francisco lacks the resources of some other cities.

WeShelter wants you to get out on the streets, talk to people about the issues of homelessness, and encourage them to try out WeShelter. Talk to your friends, family, and coworkers. Talk to people on public transportation and in line at the supermarket. Post to social media.

It's that simple to change the world.
