Students for High-Impact Charity (shicschools.org) has created a free experimental curriculum that explores the latest questions facing humanity. We’d love to have teachers test it out in their classes!
SHIC is about leveling up our impact to the largest scale, and so our curriculum covers world poverty, animal welfare, catastrophic risk (nuclear war, pandemics, and artificial intelligence!). We only ask 10 hours over the course of your semester. That’s it! We have a 7-part curriculum we’d like to test.
Our program pays special attention to how science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) all play a crucial role in the future of international development. We envision an entire global network of students with the technical ability to thrive in the real world and the vision to make it a better place for others.
