As we are in the process of rebranding our image, creating new logos, websites, social media presence and fulfilling a more transparant, dynamic and fluid experience to both organize and demonstrate the good we fulfil through our mission statement, it has become necessary and advantagous for us to create an interactive web forum. We will be using phpBB, a very popular opensource MessageBoard/Discussion Forum to have a plateform on our website for people with disabilities, their families and/or caretakers to discuss issues related to dissability. We are looking for someone who ideally is somewhat versed in Discussion Forums and their typical rules. Someone with the ability to add and remove Categories and topics, moderate the forums, share the link on other forums and help it grow.

Active Disabled Americans, Inc., exists to provide a concrete, working example of how accessible outdoor recreation opportunities for the disabled can be seamlessly blended into local community recreational offerings; serve as an educational/referral network on matters related to accessible recreation for individuals with disabilities, their families & friends, and the general public; assist developing/developed recreation facilities with Americans with Disabilities Act compliant issues, and advocate for accessible outdoor recreation for indiviudals with disabilities.
