Join us as a volunteer for our next camp - "Bugs Life" - on November 8th & 11th from 8:00am-5:00pm (can be split into shorter shifts). Volunteers are welcome to join us for a just a day or the whole week!
Camps at Adventure Science Center consist of a wide range of enrichment programs for youth in grades K-9 that combine science, technology, engineering, and math in ways that encourage kids to actively discover science for themselves. Camp programs are conducted on weekdays during the summer and school breaks. As a camp assistant, volunteers are responsible for helping camp counselors as well as the camp coordinator. This includes helping set up and clean up camp activities, supervising campers, and explore time at the science center.

Adventure Science Center is an independent, not-for-profit educational institution dedicated to igniting curiosity and inspiring the lifelong discovery of science since 1945. With 44,000 square feet of exhibit space, the Center features nearly 175 hands-on exhibits focused on biology, physics, visual perception, listening, mind, air and space, energy and earth science.
Our award-winning programs include daily science demonstrations, Discovery Cart activities, workshops, lectures, camps, Science Cafes and other special events. The Sudekum Planetarium features state-of-the-art digital projection and surround sound to present programs on a wide range of sciences, history, culture and laser shows.
