Club Kids

The mission of Union League Boys & Girls Clubs is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive and caring citizens. Help us fulfill our mission by becoming a volunteer!

Volunteers are needed weekdays in the afternoon and evening hours to help facilitate programs and assist with other Club duties. Needs vary by Club and throughout the year. We have Clubs located in several of Chicago's neighborhoods including Pilsen, Humboldt Park, Englewood, Bucktown, and Lawndale. Volunteers can support our already existing programs or help us in creating new opportunities for our Club kids.

Volunteers will need to fill out an application and undergo a criminal background check. Please email e.mikos@ulbgc.org for more information.

Mission Statement

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

Description

In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.

Boys and Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls, by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence. Boys and Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow -- all while having fun.

We have a variety of Clubs throughout the Chicago area.

Each one offers the same opportunities for growth and the same dedicated staff to help and guide our members.

Donations can be made online at our website. Please visit www.ulbgc.org to learn more.
