Key Responsibilities:

  • Written policy must be simple and clear, so that it can be easily understood by everyone.

  • Policy must also be comprehensive and able to address questions or situations that may arise.

  • Such work requires that policy writers be aware of these potential situations or questions at every level of the Organization.

  • Maintaining policy manuals requires that policy writers keep accurate files.

  • All updates, revisions, and deletions must be recorded and easily accessible.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate will possess excellent communication (verbal/written), proofreading, organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational, research and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to partner with a broad range of collaborators and stakeholders from technical staff to executive leadership.

  • Must be able to interact with a diverse clientele and facilitate group discussions to promote consensus.

  • Able to analyze and resolve multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.

The Glory Foundation provides the "GIFT OF REST" for families of children with limited life spans due to chronic or terminal illness.The Glory Foundation is working to establish a pediatric respite care home dedicated to providing high-quality family-centered care for children with life-limiting illnesses.
