ORGANIZATION: Plymouth Area Coalition

Plymouth Area Coalition is in need of a volunteer instructor with teaching/social work background to teach "Systematic Training for Effective Parenting" to parents at the shelter. This is a seven hour course that includes discussions on: child growth and development; building self-esteem; positive discipline and effective communication. Each ninety minute class is held weekly. The day of the week and time are negotiable. Training in the curriculum is provided. **Classes resume in mid-September.

The Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless is a 501C3 not-for-profit charitable organization incorporated in 1985. The Coalition runs a family shelter, food pantry, the Children's Holiday Fund, Holiday Meal Program and FAIR Exchange; a second hand household goods and clothing service.
