ORGANIZATION: Plymouth Area Coalition

Plymouth Area Coalition is in need of a volunteer RN/LPN to teach "Taking Steps to a Healthy You’ to adult shelter residents. It is a six hour course that includes discussions on: general health promotion and disease prevention; first aid; CPR and Rescue Breathing; Nutrition; Sexual Health; and Stress Management. Each one hour class is held weekly in the late afternoon. The day of the week and time are negotiable. Training in the curriculum is provided. **Classes resume in mid-September.

The Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless is a 501C3 not-for-profit charitable organization incorporated in 1985. The Coalition runs a family shelter, food pantry, the Children's Holiday Fund, Holiday Meal Program and FAIR Exchange; a second hand household goods and clothing service.
