With the help and support of our generous volunteers, the American Heart Association hosts the annual Greater Nashville Heart Walk hosting over 8,000 individuals from this and surrounding communities. The 2016 Greater Nashville Heart Walk is weeks away and we need YOUR help to make this year’s event a success! The American Heart Association is looking for volunteers to help us in many different areas-from setup to breakdown!
Heart Walk Event
Saturday, October 15, 2016
2 Shifts Available; unlimited volunteers needed:
6:45am-10:00am
Jobs: final tent setup, tent volunteers in various areas, lead activities in different tents
10:00am-1:00pm
Jobs: hand out materials to walkers, breakdown tents at start of walk, general event breakdown (breaking down tents, taking down signs, stacking chairs, etc.)
Volunteer tasks for day-of event will vary by shift. Please contact Maggie Coakley with shift interest for more information, shift assignment and volunteer placement.
