Do you like meeting new people, seeing great Halloween costumes and having fun?? Come help us decorate, set-up, run games, guide people to the next event or game or clean up and break down decorations and games at the YMCA Halloween Carnival, October 21st.

What we need:

Week prior to the event: We need volunteer to help create and put together decorations such as a haunted maze and hallway, creating light features and kid-friendly bats and ghosts. Games will be created and some creative work on setting those up may needed. (flexible schedule)

Day of the event:

Pre-event set up: on the day of the event, volunteers will help set up the final decorations, lay out the games in their designated spaces within the building and help finalize signs and coordinate final details of the carnival. (1.5 hour commitment)

During event: volunteers will be asked to guide people towards the event, run games and activities and in general ensure that the community is having a blast! (3.5 hour time commitment)

Post event: volunteers will be asked to help clean up by breaking down decorations and games, cleaning up supplies and organizing supplies in their designated boxes. (time commitment is approx. 30-45 mins at most)

Wear your costume!!

Volunteers must enjoy kids and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse population. All YMCA volunteers must have the ability to act in accordance with the Y core values of Caring, Honestly, Respect and Responsibility.
