Heart disease remains the #1 killer of all Americans, taking a life about once every 84 seconds. Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20% by 2020. As a leader in the fight against cardiovascular disease and stroke, the American Heart Association is dedicated to building healthier lives.
Do you want to be an essential part of our biggest fundraising event of the year?! Sign up to volunteer for the Puget Sound Heart Walk - October 13 th 2018 at the Seattle Center!
Volunteer opportunities may include but are not limited to:
o Kids Zone - Face painting, game leading, etc.
o Start/Finish Line, Walk Route - Cheering, route signs/directions
o Setup and Take down
o Water Stops - Handing out bottled water
o Healthy Snacks Tent - Handing out food/drinks
