About

The Washington State Bicycle and Pedestrian Counts are next week, September 27th, 28th, and 29th. Volunteers are needed to help track bicyclists and pedestrians in locations throughout Tacoma and Pierce County. These counts help to improve the safety of transportation across the state, and measure how much folks use alternative modes of transportation. There are 22 crucial spots left in Tacoma! If you’d like to be a part of this effort, please visit bikepedcount.wsdot.wa.gov/ or contact Jeff Aken at 206-300-5932.

*There are many locations, please visit the link above to select a spot!

*There are two two-hour shifts per day.
