ORGANIZATION: PROJECT CAGED BIRDS INC

New Hope Extended Living

MSW interns ( clinical), under the supervision of a MSW and/or LCSW, will provide case management and advocacy to Veterans housed at New Hope Extended Living. Activities will include, but will not be limited to:


- Obtaining and writing biopsychosocial histories using individual interviews, chart reviews, and collateral information

- Providing individual counseling

- Participating and presenting cases in the multi disciplinary team process

-Communicating with collateral contacts

- Research and referral of resources for veterans and their families in need of additional services

-Follow up and case management as needed

- Facilitating psychoeducation groups, life skills workshops, and group therapy

- Other tasks as assigned
