Thank you so much for expressing interest in volunteering with the College Factory! We are excited to announce that we'll be hosting our FIRST set of Volunteer Orientations this month and next. We have been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to get our organization up and running, now we are ready to WELCOME YOU aboard. As a volunteer based organization, we are always appreciative and eager to meet new, passionate volunteers because, without you, our work would not be possible. The two volunteer orientations are coming up at our NEW center in the Georgia Square Mall. The two dates for orientation are September 22nd and October 3rd, 6:00-7:30 p.m. This orientation is a great opportunity for you to learn more about our organization, ask questions of our staff, and complete any documents needed for you to volunteer with us.

The mission of The College Factory is to build college-going culture in communities of need.
Description
We provide college & career coaches to youth and families in the Athens community. Our coaches are trained to advise youth on college and career opportunities. Our coaches execute sessions related to many topics including admissions, financial aid, testing, surviving in college, resume building, the SAT and ACT, and much more. We believe that by building a culture around post-secondary planning, our community will not only have the belief they can succeed, but also the knowledge on how to succeed as well.
