Campaign Ambassadors support United Way of Greater Toledo’s mission uniting the caring power of people to improve lives toward increasing revenue. They serve as a leader in engaging assigned corporate contacts in United Way's work, executing/recommending campaign strategies and, if applicable, recruiting existing and new businesses to participate in the United Way campaign.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Attend United Way Ambassador Briefing
* Make phone calls to all assigned accounts - approximately 5 accounts
* Make personal visits with every assigned company
* Ask for their United Way support and as appropriate (corporate gift or employee campaign)
* Regularly report progress to volunteer/staff as directed
* Follow up with all accounts until their campaign is complete
* Work to achieve an increase in all assigned accounts
