Clearing the farm field of rocks is an important farming task. The whole family can help! Kids and adults alike, everyone can pick up rocks and put them in the bucket of a tractor, or add them to the stone wall along one side of the farm. Join us for this important, fun and ancient New England farming task! Children ages 5 and over are welcome to help.
Volunteers will be treated to a special farm tour by Farmer Tim or Farmer Elena following the rock harvest. We will tour the farm and take a look at our farm fleet - tractors, plow, disk harrow, and more! (This tour is only available to our rock harvest volunteers.)
Visit our website to learn more about us and the volunteer opportunities we offer - http:/lexfarm.org
We are located a few minutes ride from the Minuteman Bikeway.
