The Fort Hunter Free Library is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to coordinate and lead our Toddler Story Hour program. As our volunteer, you would choose a book to read and an activity related to a topic in the book to lead the Story Hour. The time commitment is approximately 3 hours a week: two hours of preparation and one hour of leading the Story Hour.

We strive to maintain the highest library standards possible and to obtain the best reading material and media available for all age groups. We want to encourage a love of reading and life-long learning for all of our patrons.
Description
The Fort Hunter Free Library is a NYS chartered assocation library within the Mohawk Valley Library System. We serve all of the Town of Florida, the village of Tribes Hill, and surround communities. Volunteering is vital to the health of the library and the community by providing much needed support to the youth and adults who rely on library services. Volunteers gain the skills and knowledge to help with their professional career and personal life. Student volunteers gain community service credit and valuable job experience.
