VPACC is looking for aerospace engineers to provide feedback and advice to 3D model builders as our art team develops aircraft/spacecraft/hybrid vehicles as part of VPACC’s goals to create an extensive simulated program to inspire science literacy and STEAM education.
The role is to guide and advise in the technical details to create a functioning fictional aircraft but make it as believable as we can under the obvious constraints. Our art team is looking for technical guidance in regard to subjects like aerodynamics, simulated hardware and propulsion etc. This would include atmospheric flight, orbital operations and deep space.

The Virtual Public Aerospace Career Concept (VPACC) incorporated in December 2015 as a 501(c)3 with the explicit mission to innovate solutions for a unique informal learning strategy capable of being implemented as a national capture strategy, targeting scientific literacy and STEAM education.
VPACC’s Mission statement: We are pioneering an entertainment-centric, long-term strategy to engage the public in scientific literacy and STEAM education.
VPACC is targeting key issues identified by professionals of education, industry and government:
- Utilize an informal learning environment to stimulate interest in STEAM subjects.
- Design the system to develop a long-term engagement with the audience.
- Improve accessibility of these learning opportunities by deploying programs in population centers and inner cities to reach a broad, cross-cultural audience.
- Inspire students to consider and choose STEM careers and increase future STEM workforce.
VPACC plans to engineer an innovative and exciting new entertainment system capable of addressing and enabling solutions for the four challenges identified above. VPACC is first focused on engineering sets of midrange high fidelity full motion and static flight simulators to operate in unison, allowing us to create excitement and mission architecture that can be shaped into a set of long term informal entertainment and educational programs. These tools form the center piece of an intergraded strategy incorporating modern networks, technologies, pedagogical philosophies and organizations as a growing ecosystem designed to overlap the public’s personal, social and educational spheres of influence. As an informal learning strategy we place a high priority on emotional development and inspiration as the first critical line in an effective capture strategy. These tools and programs need to be understood as a comprehensive business strategy and product capable of being deployed in population centers nation wide to maximize accessibility.
VPACC is designed as both a capture strategy and a STEAM education resource, requiring and facilitating a broad community ecosystem. It is not a stand-alone program, gone are the days we work alone, the United States STEAM community is a team effort. Our mission is to provide the public and its youth with a set of exciting problems and challenges within a virtual setting, in the most creative and immersive environment. Encourage and enable the process of solving those problems, allowing for, and encouraging, self-learning and self-organization as teams or communities of teams in the real world.
