Home Fire Preparedness Campaign Event
To help save lives, the Red Cross and partners are installing free smoke alarms in homes that need them.
Volunteers are needed for this lifesaving community outreach effort. Individuals, faith-based groups, local businesses and organizations are invited to participate. Working in teams, Volunteers can vass neighborhoods, install smoke alarms, review a fire safety and home hazard checklist and provide information about creating a fire escape plan with residents. Training is provided.
