Join Manzanita Canyon neighbors, community volunteers and San Diego Canyonlands for this 2nd Saturday routine stewardship event in the canyon as part of our Urban Greening Project and Prop 1 funding with Ocean Discovery Institute. Help us to create a healthy habitat for for wildlife and a safe place for recreation in the City Heights community of San Diego. All ages welcome!

Volunteers will care for our native plantings, remove invasive plants and remove trash and debris from our restoration areas.

Community service hours documentation provided to those who need it. Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a youth waiver to participate in our events. This waiver can be found going to the following website: http://www.sdcanyonlands.org/images/pdfs/Parks_and_Rec_Indiv_or_youth_vol.waiver.pdf. Wear sturdy shoes or boots and a hat and bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Tools and gloves provided. NO BATHROOMS ON SITE.
