4 pm - 6 pm: Set-up of ballroom: placement of favors, program. Silent Auction: Set-up of bid sheets, etc.
6 pm- 8:30 pm: Guarding the trees & gifts, wreaths, baskets, etc. guiding guests to appropriate areas, etc. Removal of Bid sheets and sorting bid sheets for winners. Must wear business dress attire.
8:00 pm - 10:30 pm: Runners between registration and the dinner gala room to collect payment for items won during the silent auction. Helping where needed during registration/check-out. Spotters during the live auction. Must wear business dress attire.
10:00 pm - 11 pm: Helping the registration table complete auction checkout. Must wear business attire.
8 PM - finish (approximately 11 pm): tear down in the silent auction room. Boxing up of trees & gifts. Wear work clothes. Labor intensive. Don’t volunteer if you are pregnant or have back or health issues. May involve some heavy lifting.

Description
The vision of the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada is for individuals with Down syndrome to be accepted in the community and respected for their abilities and contributions.
The DSOSN is a non-profit organization comprised of families with a child who has Down Syndrome or other, more rare chromosomal abnormalities, and others who are interested in Down syndrome. We are affiliated with the National Down Syndrome Congress, The National Down Syndrome Society and the National Association for Down Syndrome.
