Volunteers needed to guard the trees & gifts - Public Areas. Volunteers needed to help with Children's Activities - cupcake decorating, ELF store, Santa Helpers, raffles, and tear down. Several shifts and hours are available: (Thursday - November 17, 2016) South Point: Grand Ballrooms A & B
11:00 am to 2 pm: Mainly set-up
2 pm to 5 pm: Duties described above
5 pm to 8 pm: Duties described above
8 pm to finish (approximately 10 pm): tear down
Please wear business casual Attire: Holiday clothing is fine.

The mission of the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada is to enlighten the public by promoting a positive understanding of Down syndrome in the community and be a source of support, information and education for families and individuals affected by Down syndrome.
Description
The vision of the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada is for individuals with Down syndrome to be accepted in the community and respected for their abilities and contributions.
The DSOSN is a non-profit organization comprised of families with a child who has Down Syndrome or other, more rare chromosomal abnormalities, and others who are interested in Down syndrome. We are affiliated with the National Down Syndrome Congress, The National Down Syndrome Society and the National Association for Down Syndrome.
