Mission Statement

The mission of the Community Action Program Committee, Inc. is to assist low-income people in Escambia County to achieve self-sufficiency. The purpose of the agancy shall be to carry out the overall responsibility of planning, coordinating, evaluating and admisitering a Community Action Program toward that end.

Description

Head Start & Early Head Start programs provide comprehensive, developmental services for low-income pre-school children ages birth to five and support for their families.

The pupose the Head Start program is to promote school readiness by enhancingthe social and cognitive development of children through the provision of health, educational, nutritional, social and other services.
