Building Hope for Africa is looking for a talented and driven Sacramento-based individual to take the initiative in organizing our 2nd Annual Fundraiser Gala, taking place in Spring 2017.
Duties would include collaborating with Board Members to do the following:
- Recruiting event sponsors
- Identifying potential venues
- Developing the marketing materials
- Organizing a silent auction
- Assisting with the development of the agenda for the event
- In consultatoin with Board Members, identify an appropriate theme for the fundraiser
- Recruiting volunteers for the night
- Identify avenues to promote the fundraiser (i.e. through news outlets, schools, etc.)
- Other logistical tasks, as assigned, including decorations, securing catering, etc.
