Britepaths (formerly Our Daily Bread) needs help from the community to spread the word about our services for the working poor in the Fairfax County area and let the public know how they can make a difference.
We need volunteers to staff our information tables at local festivals this fall. Volunteers will hand out information about Britepaths' fall events and programs and help kids who stop by the table complete a simple craft. Your volunteer support is vital to helping us provide assistance to our families! If you like to interact with the public, this is a great community service project for you.
PLEASE NOTE: Britepaths' staff will set up the table and meet volunteers at the beginning and end of the festival, but we are depending on our volunteers to staff the table on their own during the festival. Your volunteer support is helping us direct critical funds toward assisting our families!
Youth volunteers are welcome, but adults are greatly needed! We need someone 18 or older to supervise the table for each shift. Volunteers under age 16 should plan to volunteer with a parent or someone 18+. If you have a child seeking community service hours, please consider signing up to volunteer with them to supervise the table. We will give priority to parent and youth volunteers who are willing to volunteer together in order to ensure the table is supervised.
Please sign up for your volunteer shift on our Sign Up Genius form: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0c4aa4ac2eab9-fall6
