  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Do you like being outside in nature and don’t mind working hard? Do you want to receive community service learning hours? Then come and join us to plant trees, and make a difference for future generations.

The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) is leading a native forest restoration project directly within Wilson Point Park along Darkhead Creek. Enthusiastic GVC volunteers have planted more than 28,000 trees in the Gunpowder Watershed over the past 26 years and we need your help to plant even more!

This event will occur RAIN OR SHINE. Remember to wear boots, pants, long sleeve shirt, hat, gloves, and bring rain gear and water bottle. Water jug and a light snack will be provided.
