Event Volunteers will provide day-of support for Los Angeles LUNG FORCE Walk through one or more of the following areas:
Set-Up & Clean-Up: assist with set-up of festival area; distribute of boxes, signs, and trash cans; maintain cleanliness of area, including picking up trash and emptying trash cans
Volunteer Check-In: check in volunteers, distribute t-shirts to all volunteers; assist with volunteer waivers
Greeters: set up parking signs, direct people to parking area and to our event
Registration: check participants in; collection donations; distribute t-shirts to participants who have raised over $100; assist with participant waivers
Refreshments: set up food & drink; prepare food, as needed; maintain supply; clean up
Mission Tents: assist with various LUNG FORCE activity tents focused on our mission
LUNG FORCE Leader & VIP Tent: set up refreshments for participants who have raised $500+
Start/Finish: cheer for participants at the start and end of their Walk
Route: set up signage; direct participants on-route; pass out water at rest stop; cheer
Qualifications:
Must be a non-smoker.
18+ preferred, youth encouraged to volunteer but need parental consent and attendance

The American Lung Association in California is the leading organization dedicated to fighting threats to lung health including asthma, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), tobacco, and air pollution.
We support basic and clinical research through training and "seed" grants for beginning researchers, advocate for stronger clean air and tobacco control policies at the local and state level, and serve communities throughout California by providing numerous education and support programs to help children and adults living with lung disease.
Our focus is fighting for healthy lungs and clean air for all Californians.
