Read Aloud Day is annual, citywide event that takes place throughout the Bridgeport public schools. Volunteer readers are placed in every pre-kindergarten through sixth grade classroom to read enjoyable children's books. The books are provided by the School Volunteer Association of Bridgeport and then donated to the classroom libraries.
Please register by calling the office at 203-275-1120. Registrations will be taken up to the week of the event.

Description
The School Volunteer Association of Bridgeport, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides volunteer services to Bridgeport's Public Schools. The School Volunteer Association recruits, trains and places volunteers and also raises funds to support programs for city students.
