Macomb Community Action's Office of Senior Services is in need of volunteers to deliver shelf stable meal packs to homebound senior citizens throughout Macomb County.
These food boxes are intended for use if inclement weather or other unpredictable event prohibits regular Meals on Wheels meal delivery.
Food boxes are picked up from Macomb Community Action's warehouse in Clinton Township between 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
Pick up and delivery of the boxes for an average route takes approximately two hours to complete.
Volunteers must be 18 years or older, have a valid drivers' license and pass a background check. This is a great activity for the whole family!More opportunities with Office of Senior Services- Meals On Wheels
