Are you interested in helping the fight against hunger but prefer to work at a computer? Then we have the opportunity for you! We are looking for volunteers who can assist with data entry. This project is estimated to take at most 40 hours. We'll be asking volunteers to read comments from a survey and enter them into Excel. Location will be at the North Texas Food Bank in South Dallas. Days (M-F) and hours (9-4) for this project are negotiable. After you indicate an interest, a staff member will contact you to ask about your schedule. The successful candidate will:
- Be a reliable volunteer.
- Have proven administrative skills, including proficiency in typing and using Microsoft Excel and databases.
- Have a strong eye for detail and commitment to producing high quality work.

Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a Dallas nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of more than 262 Food Assistance Partners in 13 counties. As a member of Feeding America, we support the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through education, advocacy and strategic partnerships.
We strive to be the best nonprofit. Including access provided through SNAP application services, NTFB provides access to nearly 175,000 nutritious meals every day. ReThink Hunger is our three-year initiative to provide healthier food, develop new ways to extend our reach and improve the lives of those we serve.
