Tree care and stewardship are critical steps to ensuring the survival of our urban forest. Join the Stewardship Team on Saturday, October 22nd for a day dedicated to service to our urban parkland. We will be hosting opportunities in all five boroughs for individuals, groups, and families to come out and help care for our urban forests. Volunteers will be trained in identifying and removing harmful flora that threaten our native young trees and shrubs, and provide protection for years to come.
