Sales Floor Volunteers help us stock, organize, and clean merchandise, organize our hardware, lighting, and tile sections, and answer any questions that customer's may have.
Our volunteers work side by side with our staff on our sales floor and in our recieving section. Volunteers learn what we take and do not take, how to prep an item for the sales floor, how to arrange items on the sales floor, and how to maintain our sales floor. With 17,000 square feet of ReStore, and donors dropping off donations throughout the day, we can use all the hands that we can get to help us to organize our much appreciated chaos.
Working with ReStore is just one way to help support Habitat for Humanity in its efforts to provde affordable housing in Sonoma County.
The skills listed below are excellent but by no means necessary for this position. We train volunteers of all skill levels.
ReStore is Habitat for Humanity’s home improvement outlet. All items are donated and all profits go to building affordable homes in Sonoma County!
We strive to provide a fun and meaningful experience for everyone working here, whether community member looking to give back, paid staff, worker in training, or community service volunteer.
We are a diverse group, here for a variety of reasons, but all working to further the ReStore Mission:
Providing additional funding to support Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County programs: new home construction, and home and business revitalization.
Making home improvement accessible to those who might otherwise be unable to afford it, as well as those who prefer to improve their homes through reuse versus consumption of new goods
