About

Testers- have electrical knowledge, are mechanically minded, and sometimes familiar with household appliances, gas appliances, and tools. Every tester has their specialty and we have three work stations to optimize different specialities. We especially need testers on Wednesday, Monday, and Tuesday afternoons. You would need to be able to train Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday with one of our testers for the first couple weeks.

ReStore is Habitat for Humanity’s home improvement outlet. All items are donated and all profits go to building affordable homes in Sonoma County!

We strive to provide a fun and meaningful experience for everyone working here, whether community member looking to give back, paid staff, worker in training, or community service volunteer.

We are a diverse group, here for a variety of reasons, but all working to further the ReStore Mission:

  • Providing additional funding to support Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County programs: new home construction, and home and business revitalization.

  • Making home improvement accessible to those who might otherwise be unable to afford it, as well as those who prefer to improve their homes through reuse versus consumption of new goods

  • Providing good stewardship of sustainable resources in the community
