When school is out in the public schools, kids grade K-6th come to ArtiCulture for art day camps! They work on creative projects related to a daily theme like "upcycled art" "world cultures" and "art monsters!" We usually host 10-14 kids and our teachers need help. Assistants work with children directly, prepare materials, assist with cleaning, and take kids to the park after lunch. You must have experience with art and children to be a good fit for this volunteer gig.
Assistants only need to sign up for one shift (but more is preferable). Shifts can be either half days (8:30am-1:30pm or 11:30am-4:30pm), or full days (8:30am-4:30pm, with an hour break from 1-2pm). You pick what works for you!
The following dates are available to chose from: Fri. 1/27 - Mon. 1/30 - Mon. 2/6 - Fri. 2/17 - Mon. 2/20 - Fri. 3/3 - Mon. 3/13 through Fri. 3/17 - Fri. 3/24 - Fri. 3/31 - Mon. 4/3 through Fri. 4/7 - Wed. 3/12 through Fri. 3/14

We offer classes and workshops for ages 1 year through adults; ongoing projects that support community development through creativity; and programs that aim to increase accessibility to the arts. The outcome is an experience for participants, amateur and expert alike, that meets both the artistic and social needs of the community.
