Family Village Issaquah (FVI), located in the Issaquah Highlands, is directly meeting the needs of the community members and FVI housing residents through providing parenting classes, computer education, financial planning classes, counseling services, child care, community space, and housing.
We are seeking a group of volunteers to help celebrate with our staff and families the coming of fall! This event will help promote community and be a time to introduce upcoming events and classes that are coming to Family Village Issaquah.
Volunteers will assist in decorating set-up and cleanup of the event; set up tables, prep food, dish, and help serve meals. They will assist at different stations or booths with games and activities, supervise the children, assist staff as needed, and help to ensure smooth coordination of the event.
Because you will be working youth for this volunteer opportunity, we will require each volunteer to first clear a criminal history background check through YWCA Volunteer Services (at our expense, of course).
