Each year, our ballet company is privileged to provide the Fort Worth community with a delightful dose of holiday cheer through our performances of the Nutcracker. We hold "open auditions" for any interested community members, and our cast is incredibly diverse, encompassing all ages, ability levels, etc. After months of hard work, we present one "outreach" show for local schools and charities, which is free of charge to all attendees, on Friday during the day (usually around 10 am). This show allows people to have great exposure to the beauty and artistry of ballet, who might not otherwise have access to live artistic performances. We then present two (ticketed) shows for the community - one on Friday evening, and one matinee performance on Saturday.
In order to accomplish this great task, we are always in need of a huge workforce of volunteers. We currently need people in the following categories:
Stage set-up/tear-down
Parking Lot Help
Ushers/Greeters
Backstage
Will-Call
Sewing

Ballet Frontier aspires to be recognized as the premier pre-professional non-profit ballet company in North Texas, distinguished for training young dancers, by offering partnership with experienced professionals, and world-class quality choreography and productions.
Established in 2009 as a 501(c)3 non-profit dance company, Ballet Frontier is dedicated to providing a powerful cultural experience, encompassing an organic mix of artistic quality, young talent and world-class choreography. The company provides proficient training and career building opportunities for aspiring young dancers who participate in auditions, rehearsals and performances alongside top dance professionals. Annual performances include The Nutcracker as well as a new and unique production each spring. Special performances and programs are offered to local schools and are essential to Ballet Frontier’s commitment to community outreach.
