We will be hosting our 3 rd Annual Thanksgiving Community Outreach Event November 5, 2016 at the Prime Osborne Convention Center. We will be attempting to pack 900,000 meals that day that will be distributed back in to our community through food pantries, mission homes and backpack programs as well as through other organizations! We will have churches, civic organizations and businesses that have sponsored tables there with anywhere from 3000-3500 participants and 250 - 500 volunteers throughout the day. We will be packing in 3 two-hour sessions with the 1 st one starting at 8:00 am, 2 nd one at 11:30am and the 3 rd one at 3:00pm.

We need volunteers to come out and be on the Table Captain Crew! The table captains will be responsible for being sure each table is adequately staffed with 12 volunteers. Makes sure their table is putting in the correct amount of ingredients, leveling scoops, weighing each bag correctly, getting all air out of bags before sealing, and packing the correct number of bags in each box. Each Table Captain will be overseeing 2 tables. It is your responsibility to be sure that the packing line is not rushing or racing. They should be paying attention to what they are doing!

We will be holding several trainings for this volunteer opportunity befre the event.
