Festival of Trees & Lights "TREE" Pick Up Day

Man Power Volunteers are needed at the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada (DSOSN) to travel all over town to pick up trees designed for Festival of Trees & Lights.
4 Volunteers are needed total.
Volunteer will be traveling with a truck and driver ( you will not be required to drive but still have a valid driver’s license to ride in the truck).
Time commitment is from 10 am until approximately 4pm pm on 11/14/2016.
MUST COMMIT TO VOLUNTEERING ALL DAY. Lunch will be provided.
You will start out at DSOSN 5300 Vegas Drive and be returned there after all the trees on your truck are picked up.
This is a labor intensive volunteer opportunity.
Heavy lifting involved.
Do not volunteer if you have health or back issues or are pregnant.
If you have wokring gloves, please bring them.

Description
The vision of the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada is for individuals with Down syndrome to be accepted in the community and respected for their abilities and contributions.
The DSOSN is a non-profit organization comprised of families with a child who has Down Syndrome or other, more rare chromosomal abnormalities, and others who are interested in Down syndrome. We are affiliated with the National Down Syndrome Congress, The National Down Syndrome Society and the National Association for Down Syndrome.
