Compassionate Care Hospice is looking for people with caring hearts to spend time with elderly hospice patients and offer friendship and emotional support. Visits could include conversation, watching TV, playing music, reading out loud or just being a sweet presence to help during their final journey.
We train each volunteer until they feel comfortable and qualified to make their visits.
We require background checks and a 2 step PPD to check for Tuberculosis, which we pay for and administer.
We ask for a minimum of 1-3 hours a week for visits and a six month commitment going forward . Come join our great community of volunteers and be a part of a wonderful outreach right in your neighborhood.

Founded in 1993, Compassionate Care Hospice is a community based organization committed to providing the highest quality of hospice care to patients, families and close friends. We care for terminally ill patients with a wide range of end stage illnesses.
At Compassionate Care we are committed to quality of life, which enables patients to remain in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, with their loved ones. We provide the special care and services that make that choice possible.
