The lead volunteer will be an assistant to the volunteer coordinator. They will help to make sure that weekly volunteer shifts are covered and food rescue supplies are in stock. They will lead volunteer training sessions if needed, and help with volunteer recruitment and welcoming new members. The lead volunteer will also help to ensure volunteer contact info and documentation (waivers etc.) are complete and up-to-date.

If you are interested, please write a statement (200 words or less) on why you feel you would be a good fit for the role and why you would like to get more involved with TCFJ. If you are interested in more than one position, please write a statement for each. The estimated weekly time commitment for these positions is approximately 5-10 hours per week. This can usually be anytime -- evenings, weekends, weekdays... You can work from anywhere. For the lead volunteer and grant writer positions, you would attend staff meetings every other week (1 hour long), at least 1x per month.
