The Business Training Center is foundational to ensuring CPS graduates are ready for the real world. The Center provides all CPS tenth-graders with intense training on the skills that will give them an edge in securing promising careers in the 21st century workforce.

This is an exciting opportunity for members of our business community to favorably influence the future of our students and our economy. Guest speakers are needed for one-hour increments to present on one of the following areas:

 Resume Building and Job Application Basics

 Financial Literacy

 Careers in the Community

 Teamwork and Communication

 Solving Ethical Issues in the Workplace

 Cultural Competencies

 Professionalism in the Workplace

 Career Exploration

All Business Training Center events for the 2016-17 school year are scheduled for 9:30 am - 1:30 pm at the Mayerson Academy (2650 Highland Avenue) on the following dates:

 October 10, 12, 13

 November 7, 10, 14, 16, 18

 December 14, 16

 January 17, 18, 20
