National STEM Competition Seeking Volunteers to serve as Virtual Judges!
This year marks the 15 th year for the eCYBERMISSION National STEM Competition. eCYBERMISSION is a web-based STEM competition for students in grades 6-9 and it is free for them to participate. More than 22,000 students from all 50 states registered this year to compete for National Recognition. This year, we need 2,500 Virtual Judges to judge Mission Folders (team submissions). Volunteering is easy since it is done from any computer because all student projects are online. Judges register through the eCYBERMISSION website and volunteer their time reviewing, scoring and providing comments. Students will see the judges scores as well as the comments you provide. eCYBERMISSION provides a clear judging rubric for all Mission Folders as well as support from the eCYBERMISSION Volunteer Team.
Here is a brief description of Virtual Judging:
Responsible for scoring Mission Folders (team submissions). Up to 5 judges score each Mission Folder.
Directly responsible for determining first and second place winners.
Volunteer between March 8 and March 24, 2017.
Enjoy supporting and volunteering for an education related community service activity.
Appreciate the flexibility of volunteering online from anywhere!
All volunteers receive a letter of appreciation and a volunteer certificate
