Come to the Children's Center Saturday for educational fun! Spend the day celebrating a Victorian Halloween Steampunk style, featuring the works of Edgar Allan Poe and other tales of assorted Victorian monsters. Enjoy Halloween games and activities. Visit Frankenstein’s Lab for mad scientist displays and interactive activities. See scenes from Poe stories in the haunted dungeon. Have your fortune read by the Mysterious Madame Maria. Visit our Perilous Panels to learn about Poe, the Victorian Era, and Steampunk. Be sure to dress up for the Costume Contest! Volunteers are welcome to work the whole event or just part of it. The rotation times are 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, and 2pm-4pm. There will be 20 volunteers needed during each time.
