Art Teacher Needed at Senior Center

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Culver City Volunteer Program

The Culver City Senior Center is looking for an experienced art instructor needed to teach their specialty to seniors ages 55+as part of senior centers art programs. We are ideally looking for a painting, drawing or pastels teacher. Spread, light, love and happiness through art!

Potential volunteers must have experience teaching an art class and experience working with seniors is helpful, but not required. They must be comfortable leading individuals with varying ability through activities with patience and kindness.

The instructor will lead seniors in a weekly art activity that will allow them to express their creative side. They will need to prepare weekly lessons for seniors and communicate effectively and courteously with Senior Center staff.

The current time opportunity is only available on WEDNESDAY between noon and 4:30 p.m. - the class would have to be during that time and would be weekly. Instructor will need to be reliable for our senior center students. Students will be responsible for buying their own materials based on a list you provide.

We look forward to receiving your proposal - please click on "I Want To Help!"
